The Reese Dailey Band

Based out of Toledo, Ohio, The Reese Dailey Band was formed in 2007. The Reese Dailey Band plays a combination of original music, classic rock, southern rock, and blues. When you hire The Reese Dailey Band for a show, you’re getting just that; a show!  Reese is a perfectionist when it comes to a polished, but organic show.  His band consists of some of the best musicians anywhere.  They are friendly, accommodating and respectful, and are always loved by patrons, fans and venues alike.  Reese is a stickler for starting on time and has a reputation for keeping people engaged all night long.  The band has everything needed for a show including sound and lights, and is available for bookings.

The Reese Dailey Band has a CD called Simpatico.  A collection of 10 original songs written and performed by Reese, this CD embodies his personality and skills as a writer and guitar player.  Each song stands on its own without apology!

Reese Dailey - Vocals, Guitar

Reese Dailey is the consummate front man blending exceptional stage persona with scorching lead guitar riffs and a strong, commanding voice.  Born the son of legendary singer/songwriter Pat Dailey, Reese is custom built for the stage. His early influences come via guitar players like Stevie Ray Vaughn, Eric Clapton, Dicky Betts and bands like Lynyrd Skynyrd, The Allman Brothers, ZZ Top, The Outlaws and many more.  Always the showman, Reese is in constant touch with his audience, skillfully delivering music that both wow’s them and makes them want to dance at exactly the right time.

Tom Lawson - Guitar

Tom started playing guitar at the age of 6 and has continued ever since. Tom has extensive experience in both live performances and studio recording. In addition to being a nationally recognized guitar dealer and appraiser, he has played with Jax Band, The Glass City All Stars, Opera Coupe, Great Lake Rhythm, Up for Grabs, and Stacked Ham, and Boffo.

Keith Fournier - Bass

Keith started playing piano at age 9 and then cello. He was introduced to electric bass by his brother-in-law, Ken Zuercher, at age 16. He received jazz bass lessons from the noted jazz piano player, Mark Kieswetter, and continued to play fretted and fretless electric bass in the University of Toledo Lab (Jazz Studio) Band throughout his undergraduate experience. His bass playing has been influenced by Jaco Pastorius, Rocco Prestia (Tower of Power), Leland Sklar, and Billy Sheehan. In addition to the Reese Dailey Band, Keith has played with many bands including The Glass City All Stars, Modulation, Great Lakes Rhythm, and Up for Grabs.

Rob Desmond - Drums

Rob Desmond holds degrees from The University of Toledo (BE) and The Lamont School of Music in Denver Colorado (MM). He has performed with The Colorado Symphony, The Boulder Philharmonic, The Toledo Symphony, and The Denver Brass. Mr Desmond is currently on the music staff at The Toledo School for the Arts where he teaches percussion ensemble, Steelband, and drum set class. Aside from hitting things, Desmond also enjoys bike riding, spending time with his family, and napping together with their four adorable beagles. Rob can frequently be seen and heard performing around the area with the bands Velvet Jones, The Reese Daily Band, and The Toads. He is endorsed by Innovative Percussion sticks and mallets and published through Sheet Music Plus (Hal Leonard).
